Covilhã Mobilidade is the mobility system dedicated to serving the population of Covilhã. The urban public transportation network consists of 16 municipal lines, including 2 new urban lines: the Serra Shuttle line connecting to Penhas da Saúde and Torre, and the University line. With 20 buses in operation, including 10 new ones compliant with the latest emission standards, as well as electric lifts and funiculars, parking lots, and 450 surface parking spaces connecting the city to all destinations. The services provided include fleet adaptation, on-board Wi-Fi, a website and mobile app, and a customer support line available on weekdays from 9 am to 7 pm, among other amenities. This ensures that passengers can easily plan their journeys.
